NYC DSA Workshop Trains Socialists to Replace America’s Constitution
The July 18 session advances DSA’s plan for a new governing order built around a single federal legislature and socialist control in the name of the working class.
New York City’s Democratic Socialists of America is training activists to think beyond elections and toward the replacement of America’s constitutional system.
The chapter’s July 18 workshop at NYC DSA’s office in Brooklyn, titled “How to Write a Constitution,” has already reached its attendance limit. The $25 session will be led by two antizionists: Boston College law and government professor Aziz Rana, an anti-Israel scholar who has promoted Gaza “genocide” and settler-colonial narratives, and New School politics professor Sandipto Dasgupta, who signed a discriminatory academic boycott statement falsely accusing Israel of a U.S.-backed “genocide” in Gaza and the West Bank.
The workshop is the latest indicator the DSA intends to make good on its goal of replacing America’s constitutional republic as we know it with a Soviet-style socialist system rooted in collectivism.
